I’ve been asked to be the course convener for a pretty course being run through UCT and which starts in September 2010. The course is titled “Internet and the Law“. Here is some information about the course (you can download an information pack from here):

I am heading down to Cape Town to work with the Get Smarter people who are putting this all together for UCT to do some preparation for the course and record a series of short video lectures. The course is a distance learning course and the material, assignments and lectures are made available online through the website. Its a pretty slick way to run the course and the idea is that interaction with me can be conducted through the discussion forum set up for the course.

I’m pretty excited about this course and I am looking forward to spending some time in Cape Town while we get this course together. This course is going to be pretty interesting and useful for anyone interested in the Internet and the Law.

Disclosure: I am being paid for my work with Get Smarter and UCT.
